FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) is the gold standard in modern hair transplantation. Individual hair follicles are extracted from your donor area — typically the back and sides of your head — and implanted into the thinning or bald areas. The technique leaves no linear scar and has a very high success rate when performed correctly.

The scalp is numbed with local anaesthetic before the procedure begins. Most patients report minimal discomfort during the operation — the injections for the anaesthetic are the most uncomfortable part, and even those are brief. You may experience mild soreness and tightness for 2–3 days after, which is entirely normal and managed with the medication we provide.

We extract and implant the maximum number of grafts your donor area allows — there is no graft cap and no extra charge for more grafts. During your free consultation, we assess your photos and give you an estimated graft count so you know what to expect before you book. Most patients receive between 2,000 and 5,000 grafts.

The procedure typically takes between 6 and 9 hours depending on the number of grafts. You will have breaks throughout and are free to eat, drink and rest during the process. You return to your hotel the same day.

Most men experiencing male pattern baldness are suitable candidates. Suitability depends on the quality and density of your donor area, your age and the extent of your hair loss. We assess this during your free consultation — simply send us photos of your hair from the front, top and back, and we'll give you an honest assessment.

Hair growth typically becomes visible between months 4 and 6. You may notice shedding of the transplanted hairs in the first few weeks — this is completely normal and part of the process. Full results are usually seen at 12 months. The transplanted hair is permanent and will continue to grow naturally for the rest of your life.

Most patients feel well enough to return to desk work within 3–5 days. There will be some redness and scabbing on the scalp for around 10–14 days. You should avoid strenuous exercise for 2–3 weeks. We provide a full post-op care guide and kit to take home, covering everything you need to do day by day.

Yes — when performed by an experienced surgical team, FUE results look completely natural. Grafts are placed at the correct angle and direction to match your existing hair growth pattern. The hairline is designed to suit your facial structure and look age-appropriate.

We recommend staying for at least two nights after the procedure before flying home — which is why our package includes 3 nights total. Flying too soon after the operation is generally safe, but having those extra days to rest in Istanbul ensures the best possible start to your recovery.

Yes — flights are the only thing not included in your package. Once you book with us, we'll send you recommended flight times for Istanbul. From the moment you land, everything is handled by us — airport pickup, hotel, hospital transfers, the procedure and your return to the airport.

A £500 / $500 deposit is taken securely online by card to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is paid on arrival in Istanbul — by card or cash. Your deposit is fully refundable if you cancel more than 14 days before your procedure date.

Most clinics charge per graft, which means patients worry about the final bill and sometimes push for more grafts than are appropriate. We believe in transparency. One fixed price — everything included, no surprises. We focus on giving you the best possible outcome, not maximising a bill.

We arrange a 4-star hotel in central Istanbul, close to Liv Hospital. Breakfast is included. The hotel is selected for its proximity to the hospital and the quality of its facilities to support a comfortable recovery. Your specific hotel will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Your dedicated coordinator remains available for 12 months after your procedure. Any concerns — big or small — are addressed promptly via WhatsApp or video call. Serious complications are extremely rare when the procedure is performed in a properly accredited hospital environment. If anything requires medical attention, we coordinate directly with Liv Hospital on your behalf.
